Location: Marshfield, WI | Yes, 5 were out of one boat. We also lost 1 on a sucker the first day because of a bobber. 2nd day we had the most suicidal fish ever. First, Pete was bringing in a 11" curly sue. Rob sees a fish flash behind it but had no idea how big. Then I was bringing a glider in. Soon as I took the bait out, the fish showed up. 10 sec later, the sucker gets hit. Rob sets the hook but misses. Now the sucker is at the surface. Fish comes back and hits it again. Rob sets again and he is on for two seconds and off. The sucker is swimming at the surface, free of the harness. We turn to go get it but the fish comes up and hits it but misses, turns around and hits it again and gets it. We said a fish this hungry will eat again, and we are an hour from moonrise. 30 minutes later we return. We get too close to the Rocks and we hear a few clicks go off. We thought it was bottom but it turned out to be the fish. I real up and set the hook. After a nice fight and a few nice runs everytime he saw the net, we finally got him in the boat. Nice 44". Hour later, I get a 43" on a glider. Nothing Saturday. Sunday, 4th cast, Pete gets a 38" on a curly sue. Rob loses 4 hits on suckers before he finally gets a 39". Not sure what caused the cuts in Rob's fish. Best we could think of was maybe this was one of the fish Rob lost and maybe a hook got him in the side? He had one hooked briefly. Surprised it would hit again though.
