Posts: 51 Location: Aitkin, Blaine, Minnesota | Anyone else notice the return of the "catch and kill" mentality from the launch captains? The pike regs and poor walleye bite have more pike launches drifting the lake with their suckers out. Unfortunately, lots of tanker pike and muskie have been thumped. Checkout the facebook pages seems like a step backwards. Maybe the PMTT can talk some sense into them before taking off.

Posts: 1220 | I'll be going there in a week or so for the first time and won't have any real practice time. So.....I would like the following information: 1. Where should I fish? 2. What baits? 3. What Depth? 4. What speed? 5. What color? Now, I know what you're thinking. Does this dumb ass actually think anybody is going to tell him that stuff? Well, the answer is....You never know!

Posts: 1054 Location: Medford, WI | Looks like the pattern is pretty obvious to me...find some sand, mud, or nothing in somewhere between 2 to 30 feet of water and work your lure anywhere between 0.5 mph and as fast as you can possibly reel. If you can't win the tourney out there with this pattern, Marty...you might as well give up! -Jake

Posts: 1220 | Winning a tournament or even catching a fish is far my usual experience, I'd just sort of like to see the folks driving by not say, "What the hell is doing over there?"
