I live in Virginia so I musky fish most of the year so I thought I would take my youngest brother fishing this past weekend. He is 11 years old and loves to fish. I decided to take him with me this past Saturday I was throwing for muskie and set him up with a blue Burt he made about 10 casts and I heard him shout looked down and he had one on. We got her in and measured and weighed her she was 38 inches long and 14 pounds he was so excited and I couldn't be more proud of him. He is hooked on muskies now.

I'm guessing by your handle you fish the New River? I've only come down to the new one time, but i'm itchin' to come down again! I'm from Harrisonburg area btw. Good to see someone else on here from not so far away!

Congrats on gettin your brother a fish also he is doomed now!

Thanks for the kind words and yea my little brother is hooked bad now. Yea I fish the New River and I am from Blacksburg so I'm pretty close by
