I found this site while browsing for Amma Bama lures and saw a 2014 thread discussion on Bill Looney's lures.
I attended the very first International Muskie Symposium held in Lacrosse, Wisconsin in 1984. Bill gave me one of his jerk bait lures to demonstrate in the swimming pool at the Symposium. Many of the fishermen who saw that wanted to immediately place orders. Bill has improved his jerk bait each year since that demo. I still have that specific lure in my shadow box.
I contributed many articles for Muskies, Inc. magazine as well as one for Fishing Facts magazine waaayyy back when. I am currently working on a book that will be a compilation of articles and stories from the Mountain State.
I'll keep you informed when the book is out, hopefully sometime in October or November.
Muskie regards to all.

Welcome to the forum Jim. A very well managed forum too.

As a beginner of only a few decades now (really, I feel like a rookie sometimes) I'll look forward to your input. I have gained much from the knowledge shared online here.

And I'm still fishless yet this season!...

Jeremy.
