I was recently watching an episode of Bob Mehsikomer on youtube and saw these lures. Has anyone ever used any of his A-team tackle brand lures or used a lure by river run tackle called the manta. Are there any stores that sell these in the Minnesota Metro area?

I have a few of the A-Team Bucktails with the "Vortex Blades" and it's amazing how much easier they are to fish all day compared to other "Double 10's" type Bucktails. There isn't near as much resistance when pulling these blades in. The Manta is a well known Glider type bait and guys are really loyal to them. It's a very easy glider to work and definite fish catcher.

There's a reason they're easier to retrieve, and because of that they don't have near the same thump and vibration. And in my experience they aren't as succesful at getting fish to eat either. But they will catch some, just like downsizing to double 8's, single blade bucktails, etc when conditions call for it or you can't handle the tens.

A-team tackle is Mehsikomer's tackle company, he has the parts and makes them himself

A-team tackle has it's own website I beleive. I have had very good sucsess with his bucktails, although most of mine are customs he has built for me at the shows.
