I started playing around built my own net to replace an old net. I enjoyed doing it and learned a lot from the process but after netting a few fish I don't like my new net. I used twine that I had on hand and it was a poor choice of size/material. I have decided to build another one but I'm not sure what size and material to use. Has anyone made their own replacement muskie net? If so, what size/type of twine would you recommend using?

Thanks in advance for any input.

You are making the net bag correct? If you cannot rubber coat it, you are better off buying one.
