anyone using this for glide baits and walk the dog top waters? Looking at trying it in a 5.4 gear ratio. Currenting running a c4 that I put 5.3 gears in but there is just no power when a fish is on.

HI.. I ran one all this year. Love it for jerkbaits. My only compliant would be that when using It for spinners the 50 doesn't have the line capacity for long casts and you lose alot of speed for the first 1/3 of the retrieve. I plan on getting a 60 this winter for just this reason. But yeah, the 50 Is awesome for jerksbaits. I really like how it fits my hand.

I use the 50 for my jerkbaits and the 60 for most all other apps. Mostly because of line capacity
