how bad is the trip in? Never been there and looking to try this Fall since I'll be stuck around home?

I've never had a problem getting in when I've jumped in other people's boats. Some good fish out there too. I'd give it a whirl. Just go slow and try and stay in the thalweg.

It's not bad. We've had plenty of rain the past few years so the river's been decent. Just keep the motor trimmed up and follow the channel. Not worth the effort though. I think there was a die off.
