July 2-6 on Thousand Island.

Any spots on or near this lake?

Do we have to motor to Wisc. for better skis?

Look at a contour map. Do some homework.

Location: Apparently where the Muskie aren't
I haven't fished there yet but I heard the Michigan side holds some nice aswell, Michigan has more water aswell. Either way let us know how you because I'll be headed up there in august and would love a report, especially if you fish the Michigan side. Good luck!

We are staying at Wilderness Lodge, so the evening fishing will be in MI.

Looking at Lake-Link they claim there is not much muskie in Thousand Island Lake.
Other reading tells me muskie are present in limited numbers, DUH.
80' hole, big open water and some interesting structure. The weeds, I heard, is predominately mil-foil.

I will report after July 9th.

Yea, don't be discouraged by lake-link.

Stinks all my customers are on summer vacation, while I'm spending too much time on this site reading about other peoples.

I have fished it many times--- Musky are not common in big numbers in any of the chain lakes--- BUT there are big fish in both MI & WI waters.... Put in some time--- you will figure some things out... Wish I was going with you--- Hope to get up there again before seasons end.
