Are any of you guys using the alumatrac system to mount rod holders to? the alumacraft brackets appear to be plastic and not sure they'd work for muskie applications. I'm getting a new competitor 205cs and looking at options to mount rod holders.

I’m faced with the same issue. Let me know if you find a solution.

Traxstech has aluminum mounts that mimic the plastic version the original poster talked about. You can then mount standard track on top of them. That opens to door to many track mounted rod holders. It is a small investment but it’s an option

I have been using them for 2 years on my Alumacraft with Folbe rod holders. I mainly troll for walleye on Green Bay but have hooked into both muskie and large Northern and they have stood up to them with out any problems.

I order some Brocraft aluminum mounts, so we'll see how they work. They have a knob for tightening on the rail vs screws like the traxstech mounts so I thought they will be a bit more convenient since I don't do a lot of trolling.
