I have never fished this lake, and I was just reading about the fish kill in 2013. I was wondering if anyone has had success fishing there recently. Any information would be helpful, thanks in advance.

I caught a nice one off the launch dock in 2015. was my biggest fish that year. 50's on your lunch hour make your day.

16"-20" pike abound in these waters.

Used to live on Owasso from 2014-2016, mainly ice fished it had one accidental hookup with a small ski 28 (so she must've survived). 2016 my buddies that would bass fish had a few accidental hookups of decent size fish. IMO there are better lakes around Owasso that receive decent pressure, and the local local musky guys stay pretty tight lipped about their trips...e.g. every fish caught was caught on White Bear

The landowners usually poison the weeds very heavy this time of year or did the dnr finally get them to stop.
