Hi all, I'm new here. I live in Central Illinois and my daughter goes to college in Eastern Iowa. We enjoy fishing together and we would like to meet about half way between for an afternoon of fishing every now and then. The Davenport area (preferably in Illinois as we have in-state licenses) would be ideal. Do you have any suggestions for us? We met at Lake George (Loud Thunder Forest Preserve) a few days ago and were completely skunked. What an odd lake! I have a 16' jonboat with a 25 hp motor but can easily switch to electric only.

Musky fishing is what we like. But bass are always welcome.

Lake Storey or McMaster are good lakes if you haven't been on them. It will probably be more of a drive for your daughter than you however.

Thanks for your input ToddC.
And sorry about the delayed response. I posed my question on my computer at work and then forgot what site I was on when I got home.
