.061 wire 1oz model - 7/0 main hook, 5/0 trailer hook, # 5 Willow Genuine silver or 24K Gold blades
1.5oz model - 8/0 main hook, 7/0 trailer hook, # 6 Willow Genuine silver or 24K Gold Skirts: Combination of Starflash silicon & saltwater flashabou Quality ball bearing swivel
I'm still working to add more patterns to the line. Any suggestions/recommendations ? I'm all ears

Great looking baits! What's the overall approx. length?
Other patterns:
1. Yellow. Not Chartreuse, but a yellow skirt. (is your clown regular yellow?)
2. Bluegill. oranges, greens and blues
3. Orange Perch. Black bullet head, yellow skirt with orange and black thrown in.
Have you ever tried to paint bars on a skirt?
How much are they? And how can i get some?

The actual length is about 9"
Regarding those patterns:
1. Yellow - no problem with yellow. I have 3 different shades of yellow powders and yellow silicone material. Clown pattern is a lot brighter then reg yellow.
2. I've made several attempts to make the bluegill pattern and non of my samples were good enough. Close, but not what I'd like to see at the end. Still looking for right colors combinations.
3. Orange Perch - I think I can do this one.
I didn't try to paint bars on silicone material. |

| Do you rotate the 30 minute epoxy? The reason I'm asking is I'm building a musky sized spinner bait with a resin head. Been trying to make a decision on the best way to clear the head as I do not have a turner. This is my first scratch lure so very new to the process. I appreciate your advice. |

Location: MN | No. I don't rotate the heads . No need. I use acid brushes to apply Devcon and then after 10-15 minutes heat the heads with heat gun (450F, low level) to remove the bubbles and make sure the finish is flawless. Then they are going to rack to cure. Resin head? Interesting. I'd like to see how your spinnerbaits will look. Please keep us posted.

I have couple patterns pretty similar to the Double Cowgirl above. I don't have glow blades, but I have glow skirts (they look silver-ish under daylight and glow after dark). Mix of black and silver flash + plus mix of glow and black silicone should work for the skirt. Head: either black, Black/Silver glitter or my signature Grey Ghost. I'll try to make and let see what I can come up with

Maybe a dumb question but how do you get a consistent clean bend in the top of your spinnerbait? Every time I try something they look different. Yours has a nice tight turn.
Buy the biggest ones (7.5" i think). Grab the wire with the jaws where you want the bend. Bend the blade arm of the bait with your other hand away from the jaws until the wire is in half. Cut with knipex mini bolts. Squeeze the joint together with vice grips carefully.
I get great bends doing this, very consistant. Those knipex round nose are the only tool you can do this with. Spend the cash and get them.

Modified black perch single 24K gold #10 with a yellow trailer tail and I guess I am not sure what you named the other one, But I would call it Flo Pike, has the Silver blade. Both are gorgeous and I am sure that both will get bit. Unfortunately these pics don't do these baits even close to the justice they deserve, lighting is kind of crappy.
I was able to do exactly what I wanted with both spinner applications. Get down deep and walk it slow, and the burner I can keep just under the surface perfectly.

Second is a crappie inspired bait with grey silver flash, black, and purple silicon with salt & pepper/purple flash. I stink at pictures and in the words of Archie "they look more alive and juicy in person!"
