It's just if I ever lose a box out of the boat I hope someone would see if someone is looking for it,
It's not like I NEED anymore lures....

Floydss,
Great Great gesture. I hope the rightful owner can track you down. If everyone was this honest we would not have to lock up everything under the sun.

Nice job on posting up floyd!! How do some people loose their lakewoods? Just wondering so I don't make the same mistake.

Floyd,

This happened to me a couple of years ago and I was able to find the owner. Lake-link.com, this site, Musky Hunter, and your local Muskies Inc site are where I would post. The guy whose tackle box I found actually had a friend who saw it on this site.

Floyd, many big fish for you this year with the good karma, it takes a better man to find the rightful owner, and not just pocket someone lost possesion. Several years ago I lost my son rod/reel combo and through M1st I posted I lost the comba and it was returned to me by a guy who found it.

Good luck

somehow I left a $500 Marcum camera on the ice 2 winters ago and the guys that found it posted it on lake-link...I gave them 50 bucks for their good deed..they didn't want to take the money but when I told them to buy beer with it they laughed and took it....

Just want too say this was an awesome thread to read... I know if I ever lost my musky tackle box, I would hope someone would have the decency to give me a call and let me know. I actually have a luggage tag around the handle of my tackle box. All my info is on it, plus it's in a plastic sheath so it stays waterproof.
