Location: oswego, il | Has anybody copied a large sized rattle trap out of wood? I have seen the grease, tr louie but I am talking about a replica of a rattle trap. I have had success trolling them this year but I would rather have one dive and rise rather than sink like a mafia snitch on an inside turn. I bought some 1/2" oak and aspen to try making some, I was wondering if anybody else has tried it. |

Location: oswego, il | The supertrap in a floater? I have only seen the 1/2 ounce version in that. If they did I would have some. Do you know who has them?

| Yes, we been tinkering with one that is about 5"
Made from wood and works well, made about 8 prototypes to see they all are the same.{Wood, no 2 pcs are the same}
all have the same action. They all have a good sink rate and can be burned back or trolled.
we used them as a search bait.

Location: Belgium | I have owned three of them before but am down to one. Otherwise I would have given one to you. They were for sale at bass pro in the 2001 master catalog but I have bought mine after 2001. It's just the same as a bill lewis supertrap of 1.5oz but weighs slightly over 1oz and floats. |

Location: oswego, il | Doh, definitley don't want a sinker. I found some neat rattles today that would fit into a rattle trap width body. A buddy of mine told me he would let me borrow most of the woodworking tools I need. Hope they turn out good. |
