Location: Milwaukee, WI | As a project this winter I’m going to redo many of my bucktails. I’ll start by saying one of my blade combos I have had luck with is a Mag 8 Colorado and a deep cup 6 Colorado. I also have found that the larger blade will have the main color and the smaller will be nickel or brass. I also find I use Colorado blades 90% of the time.
What’s your favorite blade type and size? Knowing time of year is often a factor.
Any combos of blades that have been good?
Looking for some other options. |

Location: oswego, il | I am still experimenting but ones I don't like are Indiana/french, willow/french. Doesn't seem to be much thump and I never had much action. I think pairing with a Colorado is a better way to go. |

| I like single willow leaf or another fav is the inline Panther Martain type. In cold water you can really make them work very slowly .( those blades don't need mush to get them going) And on the other end you can get them to fly. |
