| I just read that Ron Lindner pass away. I always enjoyed his segments on the old In Fisherman shows. One show he was trolling spinnerbaits over a weed bed fishing for pike an got doubles on Muskie broke both rods Classic |

| Always loved their content, certainly the Linder's were leaders in the industry, must of read the PIKE book at least a dozen times - even though I haven't picked up that book in 20+ years I can still see the photo's of Ron and Al holding some very nice gators! RIP Ron, you had one heck of a ride! |

| A few years ago I pulled up to a shoreline to cast for bass on Minnetonka. Another boat was just leaving and Ron yelled over the bass were on the outside weed edge. He didn’t need to identify himself, as his voice gave him away. He said he was prefishing for a tournament. I thought that was pretty classy. |

| Howdy,
Al and Ron were, and remain, my idols in a lot of ways. To call them visionaries is an understatement. I can't even quantify how much I learned about fishing from the two of them.
Take care,
Ruddiger |

| A Legend lost. RIP. Ron and Al in a sense invented the way we fish these days for almost any species, particularly in the Midwest and Canada. At least IMO. I remember as a kid doing whatever I read in In-fisherman back in the 80s. Results were good! |

| Reading his obit, pretty cool that in his 80s he was still spending 200+ days a year on the water. |

| Definitely was a sad day hearing that, RIP. I remember watching them Lindner's fishing shows back in the 80s when I was just a youngun. Watching them catch musky and pike is why I always wanted to myself. They always made you feel like you were apart of their family and they were teaching you how to make it happen for yourself. Definitely be missed!!! |
