I contribute to the support of a Western Screech Owl in the Alaska Raptor Center in Sitka, AK. The owl is blind in one eye and is known at the Center as Peek-a-Boo. I decided to send my owl her very own poop perch immodestly adorned with her picture. Balsa, 16", actually has a rattle chamber so she can use it as a rattle toy.

Nice job. Do owls like fish?

Actually no, she would prefer a nice fat mouse or a juicy grasshopper, but my limited lure building talents don't run to those two species so she's going to have to be content with a fish.
