This will be our 6th year to Eagle, but our first trip not in October. The old guys in our group just don't appreciate the rain and big/cold/windy days like they used to! So we're planning on heading up there maybe 3rd week in August. This will also be the first time for us out of Temple Bay. Any tips or tactics would be appreciated. Just want to make sure we're armed to the teeth for end of the summer fishing. I'm assuming bucktails and topwater, but I'm open to suggestions! Thanks!

In late August on Eagle, I'd be fishing main lake reefs, points, and funneled/moving water with big bucktails (slow) or cranks. And if you find any remaining green cabbage, hit it hard.
