Location: searchin for 50 | Very dark water lots of stumps its a putt putt lake if you like your lower unit fished it a few times never had any hookups Bring a lure retriever

Location: Northern Illinois | Fished it a few times....very scenic, with only a campground on the lake.
If windy, it's very hard to fish as a gale force blows straight across making
boat control tough. Have caught a few & seen a few follow, but it fishes pretty
tough as others have mentioned. I think it gets pounded pretty hard by musky
guys & it's not very big at all. Has some really nice large mouth bass present.
I usually stop & fish once a year on my way up North, just for the peace & quiet,
& camp for a night. (No elec. though). Cheers.

Location: Northern Illinois | Got a soft spot for the pot, son caught his first
musky there when we were just getting into the sport.
Also caught some dandy bass on that trip. Pics attached.
I find the fish relate to the main river/creek channel that
flows thru the system. These pics make me smile, can't
wait for the season.... getting snow today even in Illinosis.
