| I am thinking about getting an Okuma Komodo 463p. I see it has a three year warranty and I am wondering if anyone has any Okuma warranty experience? What does it cover? Do they charge for warranty work?
Thx |

| Okuma customer service is great! Should be able to call them from the number on the website. |

| No experience personally, but I've heard that it's really good. Rod warranty claims, for example, only require you to cut the 4" section of the rod with the serial # and mailing that in. No saving 9' rod tubes. |

Don't poo poo the double paddle unless you're a powerhandlefantothebone. |

Location: Detroit River | I haven't had to warranty my Okuma reel but did warranty an Okuma EVX rod that I broke on a sturgeon. All I did was call them & they had me cut the piece of the rod that had the model & serial numbers on it & mail it in a padded envelope (less than $2 to ship) & had a new rod in about a week. |
