| You're in my neck of the woods now!! I'm about an hour outside of Pittsburgh so we're def chucking baits on some of the same waters. I haven't been but the word is that Alleghany is producing some dandies. |

Allegheny is such a strong and diverse fishery. It has been very good to me and others. How's the fishing in WV? I have been hearing positive things about down there as well. |

| DARBO!! I recognize you from your posts on WVAngler - you've had pretty good year thus far. And the last few years actually. Looks like you've been on the big water as well as the rivers. If you ever need a partner holler at me !! Maybe we could exchange trips sometime. |

Location: Jane Lew, WV | This year early on was rough, spent majority of my time trying to figure out Stonewall. Once water hit 66 everything seemed to turn on. Sending you a pm now |

| I've heard a lot of people say that Stonewall and Burnsville have been rough this year. A few of my buddies have made multiple trips south and got their respective lunches eaten by the lake. So in lieu of that we've been concentrating more in OH trading our WV standing timber for weedbeds. |

| I considered a Muskie cabin in Horner near Stonewall Jackson and Stonecoal. Visited and looked with realtor (Nancy Furby). Incredible highway infrastructure with almost no traffic (mind blowing for a DC beltway guy), beautiful mountains, quiet hollers, and Walmart close by. However, it was a 4 hour drive, too far to keep up a place or use regularly.
The four mountain lakes along a 30 miles stretch in WV are a treasure. If I were closer, I would have dropped the buckage.
Next up, retirement in Alaska (Summers only). If I am going to fish that hard, I want something tasty - King, Sockeye and Silver Salmon, swarm the rivers by the millions and are terminal so no prob eating them, esp. when chrome bright.
