| I was wondering how to get tails dyed like Ghosttails or Rabbid Squirrels. Are the tails dyed before the hair is cut off? Can I buy hair already dyed like these that I can tie myself? I searched old forums and seen a black marker will work. Will this bleed? Interested in other colors than black also. Thanks |

| They are squirrel tails not bucktails. However the deer tail has barred hair. It the darker top patch of the hair. It's more noticeable on the lighter colors. |

Location: Detroit River | The black permeant marker will fade/bleed over time. Rit Dye for clothing will work best. You can get it at Wal-Mart for around $3 for the liquid bottle. You can use a small paint brush to put stripes on the bucktail. |
