Location: Bloomington, MN | What is the rule for spinnerbait twister tails? up or down. I'm thinking the blade causes more of a rukus than the water.

Location: MN | Up x 4. Like the action a little better and keep the hooks out of the tail a bit |

Location: Chicago, IL | Rule of thumb for bass or walleye jogging with twister tails is tail up runs shallower, tail down runs deeper. With musky baits, I think that is a moot point, but worth your consideration. |

| Down, on all lures. I believe it is easier for a fish underneath the lure to see the action especially at slower speeds. Also it seams like the bigger thicker tails may add pressure to the hook point when chomped in some teeth. |

| I fish all of mine down! Less chance of getting caught on the hook or have it come between the fish and the hook. IMO |

| I fish all mine oriented to the right as most muskies are right eye dominant. |

| B, this thread is spinner baits, I do agree it is more possible on say jerkbaits to catch the hook but it isn't an issue for me. |
