I am planning to head to the st croix river. When does muskie season open on that does it follow mn or wi rules. I looked online but everything i have found has left me uncertain.

Season opens May 27th and it's a 40" minimum north of Prescott and 50" on the Mississippi, which is anything south of Hwy 10. 2 lines apiece if you troll and you need a Wisconsin or Minnesota license...either one works.

Could I assume that the same dates apply on the St Louis River in the North. Or is the St Louis a couple weeks later ?
