Location: Southwest PA | November 4th 2016, 47", black body & red tail pounder, I'd say 6:15pm, fishing alone that night and it's burned into my memory! I, like you, had last year being my first year fishing the elusive llunge. I was also from shore only then, can't wait to pursue them this year in my new to me used boat hehehe. |

| My personal best was the day after Thanksgiving in 2008 on Pelican Lake. Trolling 13" Grandma's around suspended cisco's during the middle of the day. She was a 54.5X29.5 and could swallow a basketball if she wanted to. Biggest fish I've ever been involved with was last summer on Leech my buddy stuck a 56.5 followed by a 53.25 less than 45 minutes later....I'm still mad at him. |

Location: Illinois | I spent the first years (about 7-8 years) fishing action lakes. Only averaged about 20-40hours a year targeting ski. Caught numerous low to mid 30" fish. Started going after them more serious the past couple years. Personal best is only 42" but have seen many big fish the last few years. Biggest fish I've hooked was around 50" but lost it at boatside. That fish and the 42 were on bulldawgs in late morning in the middle of summer. I haven't been able to fish for them in prime time(fall) due to work schedule. This will change this year. |

Location: Scandia MN | After many years, tens of thousand miles all over Minnesota Wisconsin and Ontario and twice as much money as I'd ever admit to spending I landed a 52.5 x 24 beast 8 miles from my house. 7 inch Perch pattern Phantom right about sundown on September 18th a couple of years ago. The best part was that is was no fluke and although I really don't like that lake I'm finding myself on it more and more. I still have every intention to continue traveling tens of thousands of miles spending my children's inheritance and dying with a rod in my hand so I can enter muskie Valhalla. I'm thinking about putting a dragon head on the bow of my ship. TALK ABOUT CABIN FEVER!!!!

| 50-50.5" measured in the water. Early July, nice sunny calm day (terrible musky weather) cought on a 24-26" pike that ate a bootiecall spinnerbait on the inside of the outer weed edge at 1 pm.

So the musky ate the Pike on the way? I think this is what you are stating correct? Have seen them caught like this is Colorado with ppl trout fishing |

| Longest was a 49.5" on a red/black Shumway flasher, Early evening, Eagle Lake, just off the SE End of McCall's Island.
Heaviest was a 48" fish we caught in the weeds down by Skye's reef on a black/Silver Gerry's Girl.
Had to retire the flasher last year after a 45" somehow managed to remove one of the blades. The Gerry's girl only comes out on very special occasions now because the blades are nearly worn through. One more fish and that one will be done for good. |

Exactly. Never knew I had that pike on either. They must have got connected at the same time.
Exactly, never knew the pike was on, they must have met at the lure at the same time

Location: Alex or Alek? | 48 on a Bald Eagle lake. It was the morning of the full moon and it hit right at moonset/sunrise. Saw a flash while retrieving my Black and Nickle JR Cowgirl (i had just picked up the night before) and couldn't tell if it was a fish since it was still half dark. Well she came out of no where and hammered the bucktail in the figure 8. My partner and i had her in the bag so fast i had no idea how big she was tell i saw her in the net. It was also my first fish in the 8. |

| 55 3/8" July 21st 2014 at 5 pm in a tournament. Caught on a Hulk Hogan Spanky
My previous PB was caught on the same date a hour apart (July 21st at 4pm) in 2011 and was 54" on a Muskie Train MX6. I didn't notice they were on the same day until last year.

Location: Tulsa, OK | The 2 fish over 50" I have were caught on main lake reefs on calm blue bird days. My first 50" was caught on a Buchertail, my 51" was caught on a Black Smoke DCG. I also caught a 49.5" on that BucherTail on a reef in between major T-Storms. July for the 50 & 49.5, August for the 51". |

Reels froze solid. Herbie on the couch. I'm sure we were the only two boats crazy enough on the lake. Ah, the good times Donnie......... You meant you're not sure that fish was 50#s. |

| This kind of stuff may not exist anymore, but a buddy and I were in Acapulco many years ago walking on a dock, and we were pitched to go out for sailfish on a boat with a two-man crew for a hundred bucks each and a guarantee of "at least" a nine-foot fish each. Pulling away from the mooring, I inquired, "How can you guarantee we'll both get a nine foot fish?" "It's easy Senior," he replied, "We won't come back until you do!" I got a nine and one-half footer, my buddy Harry got one over ten feet. That's still my biggest fish, and even in 1976 it cost me $500.00 to mount it and get it back through customs to Milwaukee. |
