Location: Lake Tomahawk, WI | Two big fish on day one were enough for Dylan Banker and Cole Nenahlo to stay in 1st place and take home a check for $12,400. As is typical, less fish were caught on day 2, pressure and the shorter day play into that. Big fish of the tournament was landed on day 2, a nice 46" for team Bergner, who ended up in 4th place. A great tournament run very well on a great fishery, a class act all around.
Top 10: 1. Banker/Nenahlo 43.75", 45.25" 2. Malyuk/Baratka 35.25", 37.25", 41.75" 3. Scheafer/Esker 36.25", 43.5" 4. Bergner/Bergner 46" 5. Gillich/Rozanski 34.75", 35" 6. Wirt/Hagen 45" 7. Pallardi/Pallardi 45" 8. Jacobi/Pahl 45" 9. Barber/Waskow 44" 10. Sauter/Sauter 43.25"

| These were really tough conditions for catching muskies with close to 300 anglers getting so few into the net and, as always, the folks who figured out deserve a lot of praise. And they have my sincere congrats because we all tried really hard. But, that said, my real congrats is to the Spring Classic itself. This is a first class event, really well run, an event that some of the best musky sticks anywhere really want to win, and one I really can't see missing while I can still stand in the boat. The Headwaters Chapter, Scott, and the tireless dedicated volunteer staff have me impressed once again. Thank you so much for all you do to make this such a great event!!!!! | |
