Im looking for a longer than OEM crank arm for the tranx reel. Who makes them ,where to buy them and how much longer are they than stock?
Also looking into longer double paddle handles/arms for my TE's. I dont want power handles for these. Anyone out there still make/sell these?
thanks.

dave's reel service or mat's reel service should be able to fix you up. both have modified handles i do believe.

I put a TE LJV power handle on my Tranx. added close to 1" of length.
I got mine from Pikemaster. I'm sure Dave's has them if Pikemaster doesn't.

Does the LJV handle on the Tranx make a big difference?

I have the High speed version Tranx so, ya- it makes a difference.
A BIG difference?... I don't know - but a noticable difference.
If you're going to use the HG for Big blades you will probably need the longer handle.

Best upgrade I know of for the TranX is the NACL power handle on the longer setting. The lightweight balances better and keeps the reel from wanting to roll due to the giant/heavy/dumb handle it comes with. The keeper screw hole doesn't line up so you will need to drill and tap a new one if you want this mod.
