Hey guys,
I had an unfortunate incident the other day. I managed to snag a beaver (yes a real beaver) on a hellhound. I tried to get him to the boat and unhook him, but he chewed through the leader. In a last ditch effort to get the hooks out of him I netted him and cut the hooks out, however as one would guess, while I was working on the hooks in his back leg he was gnawing through the net in the front.. He put several large holes in the bag and I am now in search of a replacement. Beckman is out of business, but thought I would be able to possibly substitute another brand bag. My current Beckmann hoop is 34x36. Thoughts/suggestions? I figure this is at least worth a good laugh if nothing comes from it haha. Thank you,

How was the fight?
He was actually pretty calm once I got him in the net. Probably because he was busy chewing through my net while I was cutting the hooks out. haha
Surprisingly strong fighter when he got some steam under him...
Thanks for all of the replies guys! I tried using a soldering iron to melt the net back together and it looks like it will work pretty well. If a monster breaks through one of those holes I'll be beaver hunting that weekend. haha

I'm not sure I'd trust a net that's been "melted" back together. Use some heavyweight cable/wire ties to reconnect the uncompromised sections of the net and maybe cut out the melted area. It should hold up for a long time.
