What the hell is one to do with all this snow and ice?

Getting very pumped up now, I have 2 five day weekend this july to fish the minocqua/boulder area. finally getting away from work and house work to beat myself up all day and night. can't wait.

The best part about it, is that I'm taking by ALLtalk buddy with me, who talks the talk but can't walk the walk when it comes to ski's.
Im going to pound him hard from sunup to sundown. And I also told him NO bars afterward, (the place where he likes to tell stories)

Getting really pissed about these new shimano cardiffs I have. The first one I burned up in a month, Rollies was very kind in letting me return it with no receipt or box while I was up there, but the one that I got in exchange makes a ticking noise when you cast out. so hopefully the boys will do it again for me this week. Great customer service as my buddy said, thats why you keep going back, that and all the muskie shit they have there.

Its really amazing how in life there are things that you absolutely have to do, things you have to get done, things that drag you down, but in the end when ski fishing comes around, I'll drop them like a bad habit.
Now if only I could hire someone to come finish my upstairs so I can go fishing.
I ordered some terminal tackle today and a shallow dawg, Rollies was out of the LOTW perch so they called and left a message.
The old lady happened to be home and callled me at work, (Mind you overtime on a friday) to say "Honey can you pick me up a bulldog and some splitrings on your way home, Were running low"
I tell you; I can't sneak a fart by her.

I have been pretty sick lately, but still managed to catch the good fever.
I am now swimming hard in my ever exaggerating imagination. Painting, testing, dreaming, baits, fish.
The days are slow when all you think about is your passion.
I guess I'll settle for some walleyes this weekend.

I still am PO'ed about not going to our banquet, especially when I have to hear daily about my boss and his friend going to Canada, the funny thing is that this friend of his will probably be laying in the bottom of the boat for have the week, sissy.
This is only icing on the cake after having to cancel going to vermillion with C&R club in August, I just so happen to have a baby on the way that month and this could be detrimental to hearing the old lady bitch the rest of my life about missing the birth, I say though that,
"I'll be there for the rest of its life."
And she says,
"You won't make it that long"
So I say,
"BLOG DAMITT!"

Have you ever sharpened your hooks to a point where you had to put new hooks on and start all over?
