Well Got my first sucker fish yesterday, had a great day on the water with darrell. He had a nice fish tag a sucker and swim around with it for about a minute. While he was trying to determine what exactly was the other end of the line. Small pull by small pull, he got the fish close to the boat and it took off, he want to set the hooks and and had a little piece of fish but not enough to get the hooks in her. About an hour later he gets another rip, this is on the same sucker i caught my 35 incher with, after about 30 seconds of waiting for the fish to turn, darrell put in a perfect hook set and brought in a nice 37incher. Great day on the water my neck is sunburnt and couldn't get out of bed this morning. But it was worth it!! Oh big thanks for Raider150 for his custom herbie rigs!

Forgot i started one of these! Season's been slow, total of 2 fish in the boat, and got the wife her first fish. Hopefully all will change in the next couple months. Going to Rhinelander this weekend, fishing with worrall friday, merckid saturday. Been looking forward to this for a couple months. The weather is looking cold and cloudy, look out fall fatties are on there way!!

Made it out yesterday with darrell on wauby. In total we raised 4 fish and boated one... Darrell got a little snake on a 8. One of more aggresive fish i've seen for the size. Still was pretty funny, he also missed a nice mid 30's boat side. Slammered his lure on the direction change, had it on for no more than a second.. Caught a nice 17inch bass on a jake, but not what we were looking for. getting out again friday!!

Figured i'd start one of these, keep track of mishaps... got out Saturday with Shep on pewaukee Started fishing the east end water temps were around 56. Shep saw one within 30 minutes, fished the railroad track side, fished taylors - then the fun began... I didn't keep track but if i threw a number out there, i'd would say i chummed the water 10 times within 4 hours. I was in really bad shape... All shep could laugh, i'm just glad he's nice enough not to grab the camera... (not to self, don't drink bud light...) back to fishing, proceded to the narrows... About 10:00 by the "pink" boat house had a nice 45 incher sniff a sucker while I was taking a leak. I had no clue what to do? Didn't know to pinch it, grab a rod with my unit in my other hand. All i could say was "big fish, big fish!!!" Then she left. We were fishing about 10' of water... Went to Sank's place for italians, chili, and jambalaya. To bad i couldn't eat anything... Sanks was kind enough to lend me his couch for an hour for a power nap... during that hour shep and theedz saw 4 fish... Little dissapointed to miss that.. But my own dumb fault. Got back on the water around 1:30 feeling like a new man!! Fished till 4:30 saw nothing.. Threw alot of lures, can't find my confidence. Between last year and this year i'm 0-12 muskie fishing, really started to doubt myself... I need to toss one in the net.
